Since joining Jacobszoon and Associates, Inc., in 2022, Mark has worked on a variety of forestry projects for both industrial landowners, private landowners, and public agencies. Current projects include preparing an industrial Timber Harvest Plan (THP), laying out a non-industrial timber harvest plan, environmental review for a CalVTP project, and assisting with securing grant funding for the development of a forest management plan.
Prior to joining Jacobszoon and Associates, Mark worked for 6 years for a large timber holding company based out of Fort Bragg, CA where he worked on Timber Harvest Plan design, permitting, and administration. He also has experience with forest inventory design and analysis, forest carbon inventory, biological surveys, road and watercourse crossing design, geospatial mapping, and other facets of natural resource management.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from the University of Vermont.
