Since joining Jacobszoon and Associates, Katie has conducted botanical and biological surveys and assessments.
Prior to joining Jacobszoon and Associates Inc., Katie worked for Salix Natural Resource Management where she prepared botanical reports, biological assessments, confidential archeological reports, Northern Spotted Owl (NSO) reports, smoke management plans; conducted tree seedling survival surveys, timber marking/flagging botanical surveys, and NSO surveys; as well as administered field work completed by contractors for tree planting, worked for US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) where she processed requests for Section 7 consultation of the Endangered Species Act.
Katie Busch received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Sonoma State University in 2016. She is an Environmental Technician at Jacobszoon and Associates, Inc., with over a year of professional experience in biology and forestry consulting.
