Josie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Forest and Natural Resource Management from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. Before working with Jacobszoon and Associates, Josie was an intern with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, where she collected data to assess forest regeneration and productivity and surveyed stands for the national Forest Inventory and Analysis program. As a utility forester, some of Josie's daily tasks include surveying for hazard trees by electric lines, riparian flagging and tree crew oversight.
